As one of the best selling cars in the USA, the Camry epitomizes the refined midsize family sedan. The base Camry is equipped with a 178-bhp 2.5L I-4 and 6-speed automatic. Camry V6 models feature a 268-bhp 3.5L V-6. Buyers looking for higher mileage will opt for the new Camry Hybrid model. The Camry Hybrid with Toyota's famed hybrid system promises 43 MPG in city driving.
What Changed:
The seventh generation Camry wears all-new exterior and interior styling. Compared to the previous model, the new Camry is identical in size on the exterior and slightly larger on the inside. The standard 2.5l four-cylinder engine is rated at 178-bhp, and the optional 3.5l V6 produces 268-bhp. The power on the hybrid model's gasoline engine increases to 156-bhp. Fuel economy is improved on all models and most models are priced at or below the sixth generation model.
